How To Do A Full Uninstall and Reinstall
Most problems can be solved with a full reinstall of the game. the following steps can be taken to insure that the game has been fully removed before you reinstall it.
Step 1. Go to your control panel: Start > Control Panel. and click Add/Remove Programs. Then find which CoD you wish to remove and click the Remove Button.
Step 2. Go to My Computer or similar and select C Drive of where ever you have installed the game and click on Program Files. Then look for a folder called of duty. If there is one there delete the folder. If the folder is not there then you have successfully Uninstalled Call of Duty from your computer.
Step 3. After removing it from the control panel you will need to make sure that it has been removed from the registry. I would recommend a program to do this such as Crap Cleaner http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/.
This is a fairly easy Program to use and you generally can be sure your not deleting anything that can screw around with your system. After downloading crapcleaner click run and click Issues. Then click Scan for Issues. Once it has finished click fix all problems, making sure you have a backup of the registry.
Step 4. Then finally, go to your C:/Windows directory and delete the .ini file that is associated with the game. (Only CoD and CoDUO have this file in this directory.)
Once this is done Reinstall the game and patch to the latest patch
